Interactive physics & chemistry labs inside ChatGPT

Bodhaka Virtual Labs, by BuoyantWave Learning Technologies LLP (bodhaka.org), adds two drawing-first science canvases inside ChatGPT. Students build a diagram or equation visually, then ask ChatGPT to analyse it — ChatGPT’s response uses a high-quality screenshot of exactly what was drawn.

What you get

Bodhaka Physics Lab — build circuits, mechanics, and optics setups (electric / motion / optics modes), then get structured physics feedback.

Bodhaka Chemistry Lab — build atoms, ions, bonds, benzene rings, Fischer projections and balanced equations, then get structured reaction feedback.

How to use it

  1. Add the connector, then ask ChatGPT to open a lab (e.g. “open the physics lab”). The canvas renders in the chat.
  2. Draw your diagram or equation directly on the canvas.
  3. Type your question in the right-hand panel and press “⚡ Ask ChatGPT”. A screenshot of your canvas is captured and analysed.
  4. Your work is saved locally, so reopening the lab restores your last diagram.

Example prompts

  • “Open the Bodhaka Physics Lab so I can draw a circuit” → build a battery + two resistors, then ask “Is this series or parallel, and what is the total current?”
  • “Open the chemistry lab” → build 2H₂ + O₂ → 2H₂O, then ask “Is this equation balanced?”
  • “Open the physics lab in optics mode” → place a convex lens and object, then ask “Where does the image form and is it real or virtual?”
